Learn about the celebration of “El Dia de los Muertos” (Day of the Dead) in Mexico, one of the most important traditional celebrations in Mexico.
ALEJANDRA DIAZ hosts this multilevel workshop where students will transform the art of Mexican Paper Mache (called Alebrijes) into their very own celebration of Life and Love. Each class is a total of 3 sessions and all materials will be supplied. Projects can be left at the club between classes and taken home at the end, once complete.
Discover why the ‘Day of the Dead” is really a celebration of Life and Love! And inspired by the meaning, magic and colours of the “Day of the Dead”, they will create some wonderful and original art pieces like:
– “Papel Picado” Tissue Paper Banners
– “Catrina” Skeletons
– Sugar Skulls
– Paper Mache skulls
